Abel Atsede
Community Engagement Assistant
Abel Atsede is a performer and workshop leader living in London. He joined Phosphoros Young Company in 2021 and performed in Mr Peacemaker, Love Lane and a short film project. After taking part in our facilitation training, Abel now co-delivers workshops with us in youth groups and colleges, supporting refugee young people to be creative. Abel also joined the cast for All the beds I have slept in 2022-2023 and performed across five cities. Outside of Phosphoros Abel co-developed a new show with Little Angel Theatre exploring migration called The Welcome Project which toured in children centres in London and Manchester. He accomplished the London Marathon 2023, and loves to listen to Taylor Swift in his spare time.
