Ismael is an actor, facilitator and content creator. He joined Phosphoros Young Company in 2021 and performed in their sharing of Mr Peacemaker at the Roundhouse. He then joined the cast of All the beds I have slept in, on tour in 2022-23, performing in London, Leicester, Newcastle, Bristol and Sheffield, and led workshops with Community Engagement participants on tour. He is also known by his TikTok name isma, and enjoys creating comedy skits on his channel in Amharic for the Habesha community worldwide. He generated more than 185k followers and 1.9 million likes within 5 months, with his most popular video receiving 3.9 million views. Ismael will be appearing in ‘Tender’ in Spring 2024.
