Kyley Winfield
Kyley Winfield is an award-winning leader with two decades of combined professional experience in performing arts, education and leadership. Kyley is passionate about creating inclusive educational/artistic spaces that are accessible to all, and celebrate the rich diversity of its participants.
Kyley is a Senior Manager, Head of Accredited Programmes, Safeguarding Officer and Equality Lead for the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain. Kyley has a holistic approach to actor/leadership training, with a focus on well-being and creating pathways into the creative industries for those who are underrepresented and/or have had experience of forced migration.
Career highlights include co-developing and leading Stepping Up (Level 2 Certificate for 19-30 year olds) who have experienced barriers to arts/education) and Emerge (employability programme for 16-30 year olds at risk of social exclusion).
Kyle is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Jack Petchey Leadership Award winner. He is committed to the ongoing research of solutions to contemporary issues in training and education, with a focus on student-centred pedagogies, and trauma-informed practices.
As a professional actor/voice-over artist, Kyley’s credits include: Black Space for Netflix (English overdub), The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (overdub), Killing Bono (actor/musician), 7 Lives (actor/musician) and Tales From the Lodge (actor). He is an alumni of The National Youth Theatre of Great Britain and RADA; for whom he now works as an audition panelist.
