Becca Prentice
Becca studied Drama, Applied Theatre and Education at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama where she developed her specialisms in migration studies, queer theory and performance studies.
Since graduating, she has developed her practice working with young people and refugee youth, working as Operations Lead at Springboard Youth Academy, who provide holistic education programmes for newly arrived refugee youth in London. As part of Phosphoros, she joined the delivery team for Phosphoros Young Company in 2021 and is Participation and Logistics Officer which puts her across the participation and production work. She is co-leading the Phosphoros Sisters Refugee Week project. She was stage manager for the 2021 tour of All the beds I have slept in and is a duty manager at Hampstead Theatre.
When not at Phosphoros or Hampstead, Becca is a freelance producer and is working on bringing practices of care and community into commercial rehearsal processes.
