Kofi Odoom
Kofi graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Spanish and Arabic in 2021. During his university career he volunteered with refugee organisations, predominantly teaching English. He is also an actor, performer and passionate advocate for marginalised voices.
Since graduating from Manchester, he has worked as a drama facilitator and started as Phosphoros’ Community Engagement Coordinator, helping with our young company, organising and giving workshops to community and school groups, and setting up a Facilitator training scheme within the company.
He has a long history of working with and in community theatre, but it was his interest in languages and connecting with marginalised peoples that led him to work with Phosphoros in particular.
