Through this she has also worked as a freelance journalist.
After the fall of Afghanistan in 2021, she migrated to England. She started work as a volunteer with Papillon Project and then continued as an assistant of the ‘Fly With Me’ project with Good Chance Theatre. Over the past year she has completed a bridging course at the University of Chichester. She joined the Phosphoros Theatre team as a workshop facilitator in November 2022, working on the Shama Project with Afghan refugees aged 16-21.
She is excited to start her education journey in the UK, hoping to begin an MA in human rights or media. She is keen to continue helping refugees in the UK, especially teenagers and women, through performance and creativity.
